Batman: Arkham Origins save data on the PS3 requires understanding its region-locked nature and the specific file structure needed for transfers. Because the game is notorious for bugs—including freezing and save corruption—regular backups are essential. Transferring & Backing Up Save Data

Save corruption has been one of the biggest issues plaguing Arkham Origins since its 2013 launch.

This glitch makes Batman fall endlessly in certain areas, especially during the Firefly mission. Warner Bros. identified the issue and released patches intended to push players back to a previous save to escape the loop. Before attempting any mission known to be buggy (e.g., Gothcorp), make a fresh backup. If stuck, reload from a prior backup and try a different approach.

Always keep a backup of PROFILE.SAV – if it gets corrupted, you lose all challenge map progress and unlocked upgrades even if story saves remain intact.
