As a teacher I wanted to give assignments to my students, but (IMHO) the available simulators were not intuitive enough. We worked out the first version of this simulator with José Antonio Matte, an engineering student at PUC Chile. The simulator was functional but a bit unstable, so I created this second version. Please let me know if the simulator is being used in new institutions. If you find any bugs or have comments feel free to contact me.

: To safely ground the configuration pins without causing a logic short, temporarily bridge the boot contact pads using two 680-ohm resistors to a local ground path on the board.

When probing:
If OBD2 connectivity is lost, verify pin 104 is not shorted or open.

Route directly to the K-Line channel of your serial pass-through suite. 3. Advanced Bench Flashing: Activating Bootstrap Mode What is the of the vehicle this ECU came from
The Dimsport Manual shows that specific resistors (usually 680-1000 ohm) are required between the flash tool and the ECU board to enable "BOOT" or "CNF1" mode. Tips for Improved Diagnostics
Be extremely careful when probing pins; a slip can fry the processor. M7.9.7 vs M7.9.7+:

To understand the M797 better, you must stop looking at it as a list of 134 loose wires. It is organized into functional clusters.
