Their competitors are a hilarious ensemble: a sweet but ruthless Grammy with her dog Squirty, the arrogant superstar Steed Dirkly, Gorthan the dark lord florist, a resourceful Soccer Mom in her minivan, and the unlucky Dr. Professor. The race spans the globe, careening from the Hollywood hills to the Amazon jungle, then to the frozen plains of Antarctica, before heading to Australia and Borneo. As expected, Tom and Jerry's rivalry sabotages their own chances while eliminating their opponents—Soccer Mom's minivan sinks in quicksand, Steed's car is destroyed by lightning, and Gorthan gets his tongue stuck to a frozen pole. In a chaotic finale, both Tom and Jerry cross the finish line at the same time, forcing the race to end in a tie. After a brief scuffle, they trick the greedy producer into giving them the key to the mansion, where their peaceful new life (and chase) begins anew.
